Working for Reuters as photographer and sub-editor, Claro was one of the few journalists sent to brave Vietnam in 1992 in order to document communist country for three years. Even before that, during the 80’s, a period when danger was real for anyone involved in media coverage, Claro has reached far beyond proving that he is capable of capturing newsworthy photos amidst of all the risks.
